Pocket Programming

Hewlett-Packard HP-41CV, 1990 (orig. 1979), with add-ons (Wh.5839).

In 1972 a huge advance beyond the four-function calculator was released: a pocket scientific calculator that could compute transcendental functions like logarithms and square roots and that could be programmed to solve complex equations.
